Top Ten Media Privacy Policy
Top Ten Media is committed to the privacy of our users. Our policies for how we collect and use personally identifiable information are set forth in this Privacy Policy. We will only share aggregated statistical information, not tied to personally identifiable information about you, with third parties. We may use information about you ourselves in order to improve our internal business processes and to provide you with context-specific information.
Overview: Information Collection and Use
Top Ten Media is the sole owner of the information collected on TopTenSources.com (this "Web site"). We will not sell, share, or rent this information to third parties in ways inconsistent with what is disclosed in this statement. Top Ten Media collects information from you at several different points on our Web site.
You can access our Web site home page and browse pages within our site without disclosing personally identifiable information about yourself. For logged-in users, we automatically log personal data by means such as programming or we link information automatically logged by such means with personal data about specific individuals. Like most Web sites, we use cookies (see below for a bit more on cookies) to link information stored in cookies with personal data about specific individuals. We use cookies in this way to improve the information we present and for our other internal business processes and to make the use of our site more convenient to users. (Most browsers enable you to control the way we and others use cookies, if this is not a convenience that you like.) We do not collect information about our visitors from other sources, such as public records or bodies, or private organizations, or any other third party.

During new Member registration, you are required to give us contact information (your name and email address) and to create a username and a password. We use this information to contact you about the services on our site.
Privacy of Children
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13 as they use the site. Our policies are consistent with the requirements of the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998. Membership registration is restricted to adults and young people over the age of 13.
Cookies
A cookie is a piece of data stored on your hard drive containing information about you. Our use of a "session cookie" is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on our Web site, unless a member is logged into the site. Should you want to temporarily disable this function you can do so by clicking the log-out link, at which point the sign in cookie will be deleted. If you configure your browser to reject cookies from toptensources.com, you may still use our site but your access may be limited in certain ways.
Cookies technology provides numerous benefits. For instance, by setting a cookie on our Web site, a member user would not have to log in with a password, saving time on each visit to our site. Cookies can also enable us to track and target the interests of our users to enhance the experience on our site and improve our internal business processes.
Log Files
We use IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the site, track users’ movements, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are sometimes linked to personally identifiable information.
Sharing of Information
We do not share membership information about you with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.
Log data is maintained and used for our internal business processes. This information is shared only in aggregate with our partners and vendors, or as required by law.
We do not share any individual user information with any of our business partners or outside vendors without your permission. We share aggregated statistics about our users with business partners or other third parties. We use information about our users for research and development purposes and to enhance features on the Web site.
We may use a billing processing company from time to time to bill users for some goods and services. These companies do not retain, share, store, or use personally identifiable information for any purpose other than to handle your billing for us.
We send all new members a confirmation email requiring them to click a link through to our Web site, which will constitute completion of the Registration process. Established members will occasionally receive information on products, services, special deals, and a newsletter, if you give us permission to do so. Out of respect for the privacy of our users, we present you with the option not to receive these types of communications from us.
Newsletter(s)
In the future, we may publish one or more newsletters available to Members. If you wish to subscribe to any of our newsletters, we ask you to register for membership and opt-in for the newsletter in the registration process.
Unsubscribing
You will be given the opportunity to opt-in or opt-out to having your information used for purposes not directly related to our website at the point at which we ask for the information about you. For example, our order forms have an 'opt-out' mechanism so users who buy a product from us, but don't want any marketing material, can keep their email address off of our lists.
If at any time you no longer wish to receive our newsletter or promotional materials from us or our partners, you may opt-out of receiving these communications by replying with unsubscribe in the subject line of the email or by emailing us at remove@TopTenSources.com or by contacting customerservice@TopTenSources.com. You can explicitly opt-out of receiving our newsletter by logging in to your account and setting your preferences in the My Account area.
Disclosure for Legal Reasons
We reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on our Web site.
Termination of Account
Top Ten Media reserves the right to remove members for any reason permitted by law. If we do so for any reason other than because you have closed your account, Top Ten Media will notify you of this action through your registered email address of this action, or will make best efforts to do so, to explain why this action was taken.
Site and Service Updates
We will send you strictly service-related announcements on rare occasions when it is necessary to do so. For instance, if our service is temporarily suspended for maintenance, we might send you an email. Generally, you may not opt-out of these communications, which are not promotional in nature. If you do not wish to receive them, you have the option to deactivate your account. We communicate with you regarding updates to our site and service and issues relating to your account via your registered email address (or phone for billing issues).
Links to Other Sites
This Web site contains links to other sites. We are in no way responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage you, when you leave our site, to read the privacy statements of each and every website that collects personally identifiable information.
This privacy statement applies solely to information collected by Top Ten Media's web sites.
Security and Confidentiality
All our employees and data processors, who have access to, and are associated with the processing of personal data, are obliged to respect the confidentiality of our visitors' personal data. We ensure that your personal data will not be disclosed to third parties or government institutions and authorities except as required by law or other regulation.
Correcting, Updating, and Removing Personal Information

However, some personal information may need to be maintained in our records archives if it is connected with billing information or as required by law.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to change this privacy policy at any time in our sole discretion. If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will email every Member about these changes and post the new Privacy Policy in place of the outdated one as a link on our homepage so our users are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it. If at any point we decide to use personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated at the time it was collected, we will notify Members by email, with the option to opt-out of the new policy within 30 days. In such a case, you will have a choice as to whether or not we use your information in this different manner.
We will always use your information only in accordance with the Privacy Policy under which the information was collected.
